When the Relationship Changes Everything

This conversation wasn't planned.
It emerged spontaneously while I was explaining to energetic dynamics that wanted to better understand the process before allowing it to unfold. As I spoke, an energetic dynamic reacted to the idea of the intensity beginning to move.
Rather than continuing the explanation, I followed the guidance of the Superconscious and welcomed what had become present.
What unfolded was an unexpected exploration of the relationship between intensity, resistance, and conscious allowance.
Sometimes, what transforms isn't the intensity of what we are experiencing.
Sometimes, it is the relationship we have with it.
As the conversation unfolds, something unexpected becomes apparent: the intensity itself may not be what is holding everything in place. Instead, it may be the relationship that has developed with that intensity over time.
Resistance gradually gives way to allowance. Contraction softens into expansion. Without forcing or trying to fix anything, a different way of relating naturally begins to emerge.
Perhaps, sometimes, transformation is not about overcoming what is present... but it begins when what is present is finally welcomed differently.

Edith: You seem to react to the neutralization of the intensity, hey?
Energetic Dynamic: We are very impacted by the intensity. The idea of having the intensity move a little bit freaks us out.
Edith: Thanks for sharing. You did your best so far to manage it.
Energetic Dynamic: Thanks for acknowledging us. We fought hard to make sure the intensity wouldn't hurt us.
(Something in them calms down.)
Being acknowledged for our hard work makes us more in allowance of ourselves... And by being so, we feel like we're no longer under the effect of this intensity. How come?
Edith: Could your reaction to the intensity moving have been triggered by a past memory?
Energetic Dynamic: Not sure what you mean.
Edith: Sometimes, we keep behaving a certain way because we were in a situation where the only way to deal with it was to either react to it or resist the energy of that situation.
Even though that situation has passed, you are still in relationship with it. We internalized it. We encapsulated ourselves within it.
Because you are still resisting that intensity, it means you are still under the effect of that moment. That moment now belongs to the past, but your relationship with it is still happening in the present.
Yet because your relationship with it has remained the same, you are still under the effect of that past moment.
From what you're explaining, it seems that the intensity was kept within you because of the relationship you had with it. Your resistance to it kept it present.
You changed your focus. Instead of being in contraction (resisting the intensity), you began relaxing and moving into expansion, which allowed you to let go of the resistance (through acknowledging your hard work).
The resistance and the intensity were sustaining one another.
Because of that shift in focus, the intensity no longer had a reason to remain in place. Once the resistance dissolved, the intensity naturally dissipated.
It was the memory of your relationship with that intensity that you let go of. That was what had been keeping the intensity in place.
The only way the resistance could exist was because the pain was present.
It was the memory of your relationship with that intensity that you let go of. That was what had been keeping the intensity in place.
Energetic Dynamic: So we were under the effect of our own resistance. It was keeping that intensity within us - it wasn't outside of us?
Edith: By allowing yourselves to relax, you were no longer under the effect of your resistance. By acknowledging your hard work, your focus shifted. The resistance was no longer the center of your experience. As your relationship with the situation changed, the memory transmuted.
Energetic Dynamic: That's fascinating! We thought we were fighting an intensity that was in our environment, but it was actually within us.
Edith: That's the power of internalizing moments from the past. It's subtle and, at the same time, very powerful.
You were ready to look at it from a different standpoint. When we become aware of where we're at inside without trying to change it, it can bring resolution on its own. That's the power of welcoming what is present with total allowance.
Energetic Dynamic: Thank you for welcoming us as we were. We were deeply impacted by the fact that you allowed us to be who we were. We could relax into it and see ourselves more clearly. Thank you for being a conscious presence as we met this memory.
Edith: I'm here for you. I simply stayed present and followed the guidance of the Superconscious as this conversation unfolded.
Edith: Superconscious, are there any other energetic dynamics that organize themselves around intensity?
SC: Not for now.

As you read this conversation, is there something that quietly resonated within you?
