When Resistance Makes Sense

One of the things that continues to fascinate me in these inner conversations is the intelligence that seems to be present within the energies I encounter.
They do not always respond randomly.
They seem to perceive from within the reality they know - a reality that may have been shaped by what was experienced in the past, by what once felt necessary, or by conclusions that made sense under certain conditions.
From that perspective, resistance can have its own intelligence.
What appears to be an energy refusing to change may simply be an energy responding coherently to what it believes will happen if it does.
In a previous conversation, I explored the possibility that consciousness may be the prima materia of our being - and that even the ego could be understood as one of the ways consciousness organizes itself in response to experience.
This conversation brought me one step further into that exploration.
What if the energies within us are not simply patterns to be changed, but expressions of consciousness capable of perceiving, thinking, responding, and becoming aware?
And what happens when they are given information that allows them to perceive their reality differently?
In the conversation that follows, a group of energies did not want to hear about the next step of the process. They did not want to change. They wanted to remain exactly as they were.
As we continued, it became apparent that their resistance made perfect sense from where they stood.
They believed that letting go of it would make them disappear.
What happened next was not about convincing them to change.
It was about allowing a distinction to become visible:
Something shifted when they could perceive the difference.
Edith: Why don’t you want to know about the process?
Energies: We want to stay as we are.
Edith: Good! The process is about allowing you to be who you really are.
Energies: But we are who we really are.
Edith: You are who you think you really are.
… (They’re thinking.)
Edith: And because I said that, you’re beginning to move… Are you aware of that?
… (Some are curious; some are waiting to hear more before doing anything.)
Edith: If you’re thinking, it’s because you have a mind of your own. You can think, you can become aware of yourselves - that’s great… And at the same time, it’s a sign that you’re not who you really are.
(Because I said this, they reinforced their resistance.)
(I give the Superconscious some procedures to transform what is ready to be transformed. After the Superconscious completes its work…)
Edith: Are you resisting?
Energies: It’s too much for us.
Edith: What is too much?
Energies: You explain things as if we’re grown-ups, and we can’t understand what you’re saying.
Edith: Okay, thanks for sharing. You’re very conscious of yourselves, and that’s great. Is there something you're aware of that prevents you from receiving this?
Energies: Yes, noise.
Edith: Can you say more?
Energies: Noise from someone else.
Edith: Male or female?
Energies: Female.
Edith: Does she have something that needs to be heard?
Energies: She is yelling.
Edith: Can you allow her to yell?
Energies: Oof! She’s going to bury us.
Edith: So you’re resisting her noise?
Energies: Yes. If we want to stay, that’s our only option. If we let her yell, she’ll make us disappear.
Edith: Will she make you disappear, or will she make your resistance disappear?
Energies: Oh! What’s the difference?
(They are relaxing.)
Edith: Do you still need to resist?
Energies: The resistance is gone.
Edith: Does the female still need to yell?
Energies: We’re not aware of a female anymore. She disappeared.
Edith: Superconscious, are they ready to hear the procedure?
Superconscious: Yes.
(I explain the procedure and give a command to the Superconscious.)
